This morning I was driving my son to his class. He has to reach there by 8.30 am. We started on time and if we could get through the shortest route we would reach there on time. Alas! The level crossing along the railway track got closed a few seconds prior to our reaching there. We were forced to take a long route - part of it being through rough patches of road.
This gave me an opportunity to tell my son - Now into his 13th year the need to be on time.
I explained to him:- "If you are a bit late the gates of opprtunity will close in front of you.... You will be forced to take longer rout and there much of the road could well be rough..... You will suffer and make those with you suffer."
